IMPORTANT
Unlike a standard sedan or SUV, London Black Cabs do not have a traditional rear trunk (boot). Instead, they are engineered specifically for city efficiency and passenger accessibility.
Where does the luggage go?
Because there is no rear trunk, your suitcases will travel in two specific areas:
- The Front Compartment: Right next to the driver, where you would typically find a passenger seat in a normal car, there is a dedicated open luggage platform. This is perfect for large suitcases.
- The Passenger Cabin: The "passenger compartment" is incredibly spacious with a flat floor. Because of the "flip-down" occasional seats, there is ample room to keep suitcases right on the floor with you.
Capacity Note: While the cabs are spacious, we generally recommend a maximum of 3 to 4 large suitcases (plus carry-ons) for a comfortable 5-hour tour. If you have an unusually large amount of luggage, just let us know in advance!
