This 5-hour private experience combines the best of two worlds: the comfort of a seamless Heathrow Airport pickup and the prestige of our award-winning Premier Classic London Tour.
Perfect for those arriving on a morning flight, this experience turns your travel day into an adventure. Your professional driver-guide—a licensed London "Cabbie" with the legendary "Knowledge"—will meet you right at the arrivals hall, whisking you away in an iconic black taxi to discover the essence of the capital.
On your private tour, you will:
- Discover Royal London, stopping for photos at Buckingham Palace and St. James’s Palace. If your arrival time aligns, we’ll catch the pageantry of the Changing of the Guard;
- Drive through Parliament Square to see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and the architectural masterpiece of Westminster Abbey;
- See famous landmarks cruising past Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, and the historic St. Paul’s Cathedral;
- Cross the world-famous Tower Bridge and get a stunning view of the Tower of London, where your guide will share tales of prisoners, crown jewels, and royal intrigue;
- Discover hidden Gems: Because you’re with a local cabbie, we’ll duck into the tiny Victorian alleyways and "secret" spots that big tour buses simply can't reach.
Learn about the city from a true Londoner who knows the shortcuts, the stories, and the best places for a "proper" pint or fish and chips, and make the most of every minute on your first day. By the time you check into your hotel, you’ll have already seen London’s most popular landmarks.
IMPORTANT
Unlike a standard sedan or SUV, London Black Cabs do not have a traditional rear trunk (boot). Instead, they are engineered specifically for city efficiency and passenger accessibility.
Where does the luggage go?
Because there is no rear trunk, your suitcases will travel in two specific areas:
- The Front Compartment: Right next to the driver, where you would typically find a passenger seat in a normal car, there is a dedicated open luggage platform. This is perfect for large suitcases.
- The Passenger Cabin: The "passenger compartment" is incredibly spacious with a flat floor. Because of the "flip-down" occasional seats, there is ample room to keep suitcases right on the floor with you.
Capacity Note: While the cabs are spacious, we generally recommend a maximum of 3 to 4 large suitcases (plus carry-ons) for a comfortable 5-hour tour. If you have an unusually large amount of luggage, just let us know in advance!
